Christmas Train Ride

The BNSF Railroad had a holiday train ride to honor military families & thank them for their service. The kids (nor I) have never been on a train before, so I thought this would be fun!

Pretty sunset

We got a variety of snacks on board, the kids liked being served from our car server.

We had fun!!

Ryder Halloween party at school

Ryder has been so excited about his school & the cute parties they have- he talked about this one for weeks. Putting much emphasis on the costume rules. They were allowed to wear their costume to school, but NOT a scary one. And NO weapons allowed- lol Ryder telling me, no swords, no guns, no knives.. ok GOT IT! The note that the teachers sent home said "bathroom friendly" costume. The two that he has are not. So I decided to bring his costume with me after lunch, I was coming to help with party. When I showed up, we put his Lightning McQueen pit crew jumpsuit on, & he decided he didn't want to wear it. WHEW. It was alot of work getting that thing on.. :) He still enjoyed his party, even with no costume!

my candy project for goody bags. Warm up peanut butter cups on pretzels, then press candy corn on top & let harden .

oops this one was not centered & fell to the side.

all done!

Listening to story time

I guess he felt comfortable in this position:)

Don't take my picture!

McDonald's drama with Ryder

Ryder & I woke up today, the girls are with their dad, and Rob is working this morning. I need to get some things at the grocery store & McDonald's is in front of it. I want an iced coffee & I'm going to get something for Ryder. I am in the drive-thru line & I start asking what do you want? He says "I want a cheeseburger".
I say "Ryder it is still breakfast you can't get lunch yet."
 He says "ok French fries"
We are getting nowhere. I order a coffee & a hash brown. That is the closest we can get to French fries at 10am. We get the food & I hand him the hash brown, he is not happy. He tells me,
"Mommy this is not a hash brown this is a big nugget!"
Then he decides that he wanted a Sprite after we had pulled away. Days like this I don't think I do anything right.. lol.
What is this??
Customer NOT satisfied:)!!
Never a dull  moment with this boy! After he decides he doesn't want it, he yells out of the car window at someone " Do you want my big nugget?"
